I’ve finally started to get into cosplay after years of wanting to and even though it’s closet cosplays at the moment and making funny little videos for myself I really do want to get more creative and make more out of it this video was really helpful and inspiring ❤

Just went to my first con at the Las Vegas lvl up expo for day 1 only and it hit hard when i got home. I wanted more and didn't wanna go back to my boring life, I wasn't ready to go back to school and deal with real life problems.

im starting with cosplay rn and i planned on maing my first cosplay myself and buy some things in thrift stores aswell but when i saw the sewing machine i was like "nope" there is so many buttons etc. so rn im trying to get the courage to actually sit down and try doing anything, cause i can handsew a little but when it comes to sewing machine im totally lost :') but i already have one of the accesories that isnt clothing already made :DD

The one thing you said that is good advice is to make a schedule. Everything else (expect crowds, panels, vendors) is pretty much obvious and didn't need a 11 minute video to point out.

My first con was TOUGH. I took a picture with cosplayers of my favourite anime characters and felt so happy and finally for once felt that I actually fit in, it was really the best feeling I've ever experienced. And now it's all over, until next year. I feel horrible. I will have to wait another year of hard work until summer comes again and I can experience that feeling again.
